Itinerary:
Wednesday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs for our journey to Nottingham with a suitable lunch stop en-route, arrive at the hotel from 15.00hrs to a warm welcome with tea/coffee and mince pies in the Oak Bar while your case is taken to your room. This evening a delicious three-course dinner will be served in the Lawrence Restaurant; there will also be a getting to know you Ice-Breaker quiz in the restaurant from 20.30hrs. Leisure Club opening hours today are until 21.30hrs.
Thursday (Christmas Eve)
Following a leisurely breakfast today's excursion takes us to Newark-on-Trent, a quintessential English market town boasting one of the finest Georgian squares in the UK where we enjoy free time to explore, perhaps hunt for that last minute Christmas gift or lovely treats for your room. Re-join the coach at 14.00hrs, return to the hotel to relax or use the leisure facilities before enjoying dinner, there will be a Christmas Quiz following dinner in the restaurant from 21.00hrs. For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass details of local church services will be available from reception, with tea/coffee and mince pies awaiting your return. There's 20% of pre-booked treatments today and Leisure Club opening times today are 08.00 - 18.00hrs. Sleep well and let us know in the morning if you heard any bells jingleling!
Friday (Christmas Day)
Merry Christmas to all our Avatravellers. This morning, we start with a hearty breakfast with time to relax and use the hotels facilities (opening hours for the Leisure Club today are 08.00-12.00hrs). Canapes and a glass of fizz will be served in the Trafalgar Foyer from 12.15hrs with a traditional Christmas Lunch served at 13.00hrs in the Admiralty Suite. At 15.00hrs join us for the King's Speech with tea/coffee and Christmas cake in the Oaks Bar. Tonight, we enjoy a leisurely festive buffet served between 18.30 and 20.30hrs, there's also a game of Bingo in Chatterley 3 from 20.00hrs
Saturday (Boxing Day)
This morning following a leisurely breakfast we travel the short distance into Nottingham, home of legendary Robin Hood. Enjoy a wander around the city at leisure, perhaps grab a bargain in the sales. Re-join the coach at 14.00hrs to return to the hotel. Enjoy tea/coffee and mince pies in the Oaks Bar at 15.00hrs, perhaps take a dip in the pool or enjoy a sauna and relax before dinner in the Lawrence Restaurant. Leisure Club opening hours today are 09.00 - 17.00hrs.
Sunday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route
